Project Showcase: Coronada Circle
Nestled in the hills between Santa Barbara and Montecito, the Coronada Circle project is a shining example of Arroyo Seco’s commitment to craftsmanship, functionality, and design. This private residence underwent a complete landscape transformation, with Arroyo Seco leading the way in reimagining the outdoor environment from the ground up.
Before & After: A Total Transformation
Before construction began, the yard lacked cohesion and function. The outdoor areas felt disjointed and underutilized, with minimal gathering space and limited visual flow. The Arroyo Seco team stepped in to turn the property into a warm, inviting, and fully integrated outdoor living space. Through thoughtful grading, custom hardscape, vibrant planting, and intentional lighting, the space was transformed into an extension of the home.
Key Features
The Deck:
A spacious custom-built deck now anchors the yard, offering a natural extension of the home with seamless indoor-outdoor flow. Designed for both entertaining and quiet evenings, the deck provides the perfect spot for enjoying Santa Barbara sunsets.
Bocce Court:
One of the standout features of this project is the regulation-length bocce ball court. Framed by native plantings and subtle lighting, the court not only adds a fun and social element but also enhances the visual structure of the landscape.
Integrated Lighting:
Evening ambiance was a key consideration for this project. Soft, well-placed lighting highlights architectural and landscape features while enhancing safety and usability after dark. As the sun sets, the yard takes on a new identity—warm, glowing, and effortlessly elegant.
